    From Wikipedia...

After KISS, he formed Vinnie Vincent Invasion, which released two LPs: Vinnie Vincent Invasion (1986) and All Systems Go (1988).
He later rejoined KISS for songwriting on the 1992 album Revenge, for the songs Unholy, Heart Of Chrome, and I Just Wanna. Vincent had another falling-out with the band, and subsequently was dismissed from the KISS project for a third time.
Thereafter, he has released an EP (Euphoria, 1998), and an album entitled Speedball Jamm.

Vinnie Vincent sued KISS twice after being fired for the second time in 1984. The first lawsuit (for $6 million) was filed around 1986, over royalties that Vincent believed he was owed for performance and songwriting. That suit was found in favor of KISS, as Vincent was determined to be a salaried employee of the band.
In 1987, Vincent was quoted in "Rock Scene" magazine as saying that KISS would not allow him to use their name either to promote his solo career or to even mention the band in interviews. Throughout this interview, Vincent persistently and bitterly referred to KISS as either "The White Face Band" or simply "The Blank Band".

In late-1988, Vincent's $8 million contract with Chrysalis Records (for 4 albums) was taken away from him because he overextended his credit line with the label. The contract was transferred to Invasion members Dana Strum and Mark Slaughter, who then formed the band Slaughter.
Vincent's second suit against KISS in 1992 (again for $6 million) was for songwriting royalties and other claims. That suit was dismissed because the amount Vincent requested was excessive, and once again, he was found to have been a salaried employee of the band. The band has had no contact with Vincent since the lawsuit.

Vinnie Vincent is now bankrupt and looking for new musicians and a new label.

Isn't the original story of the FMIC takeover all about the Fender people walking into the shop and destroying any guitar they could get their hands on? Just to make a point?
I was told this by people who should know.

That's interesting, I wanna know why they were destroyed now...

Roman can have that model. Wish I was there to destroy the Jacksons with them. That thing is/was just a mistake :ROTF:

Maybe they just started the rumor that they were destroying them so they could take them home for themselves...

The guitar pictured there wasn't built by Ed Roman, it was actually built by Tom Pear who built it for Vinnie Vincent to his spec's. So I guess now Vinnie has brought that design to Ed Roman for him to build.

only from Ed Roman! :ROTF: that says it all.

                    kinda sad actually.
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives

Ok...why won't Jackson make VVV's as a custom shop order?

Now keep in mind that I absolutely can't stand Vinnie Vincent, and could care less about the VVV's. I'm just curious as to why Jackson won't or can't even make a custom shop one.

they used to be a custom shop, before all this happened.

and i guess they destroyed the recently built ones, which sound unreal to me.

It's probably a deal much like what happenned with the Y2KV. Vinnie probably made them stop.
Transitioning from Retired Musician from cover bands to a Full time vocalist/frontman/guitarist in an original and covers band....it's been a while and this should get NASTY!

Jackson/Charvel will no longer make replicas of artist guitars without permission from the artist, witness the disappearance of the DCGL Jake E Lee run.

I guess the VV is a step further along this road, as he may own the body shape as well, so getting a VV which isn't actually a replica of one of Vinnie's guitars is still a no-go....
