• PICS of new Jackson Custom Shop

Hey all, managed to snap me up another guitar for a bargain from Jason at Drum City Guitar Land. Anyone who browsed the site probably saw this guitar there for absolutely ages. Specs are as follows:

-Custom Shop bolt-on Stealth;
-String-thru;
-24 Fret Ebony fretboard;
-Jumbo fretwires;
-Custom weedleaf inlays;
-Unfinished neck;
-Sperzel tuners;
-Sunken volume/tone and pickup selector switches;
-Input on front of guitar;
-Schaller strap locks;
-DiMarzio Soapbar in Neck, Dimarzio Super Distortion in bridge.

Think that about it covers it. Enjoy the pics.

It's a really cool guitar, but I'm not diggin' the inlays much... even though they look a lot better up close than the pics on DCGL, I wouldn't want them on my guitar.

NICE THOUGH! How much did you buy it for? I realize that it has been there for ages, and you would think that after it sitting there that long that he would keep lowering the price until someone wanted it.

It was cut from US$2100 to US$950. I thought the inlays would be the thing that bothered most people, so it gave me enough time to save up the money for it. Plays so well too. I'm loving the unfinished neck.

dooley! Congrats Buckethead. That's a great price for a cool guitar. Y'know, in all the times I've looked at that one on Jason's site, I've never noticed the soapbar pickup before. Were his pics that bad, or am I just ign'rant?

I personally wouldn't want cannibus all over my guitar, but that is awesome and very unique. Awesome Score!...I'd almost kill someone for that axe.

hehe, VitaminG the photos on his sight really were that bad. I told Jason i'd buy it only on the condition i saw some better photos of the guitar. Once i saw how nice it was i snapped it up straight away. I didn't notice where the input jack was on the guitar until i saw better photos also.

hehe. I did that too. They didn't care in the slightest. All they said was "are they marijuana leaf inlays?" and i was like "yep", and that was the end of that. The good thing about having liberal parents.

Wow! That is WAY cooler than the crummy pics on the DCGL site!

Hmm...my Custom Shop Dinky was S/N 8080, and was pencil dated 2/25/96 in the neck pocket and on the heel.

How long did they say they had this?

The only guitar to play when you're coverin' "sweet leaf"!! Very cool looking rig!
