      Good choice!
You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.

The only thing that could improve the looks of the pickup area, would be installing EMG's and painting the pickups and rings to blend into the flames. Otherwise I'd leave it black

One more vote for "leave it".

I think gold hardware looks really nice on chlorine finishes, though.

I'd say go for the gold... if you also have a gold tooth or entire "grill." Otherwise, you made the right choice.

Good Choice! Gold would look too flashy. . .

Gold rocks on solid black white or red......other than that trans only.

Good choice sticking with the black.
Transitioning from Retired Musician from cover bands to a Full time vocalist/frontman/guitarist in an original and covers band....it's been a while and this should get NASTY!

Here's my suggestion; buy 1 or 2 gold pick-up rings (which you can sell easily later) and install them, if you like the look go for the gold bridge also...

And my opinion; gold hardware sucks on %99.99 of the guitars, there are only some exceptions. Gold hardware on hrf will ruin the look of your guitar

gold would look horrible on it.. too many colours..
gold only looks good on like dark red.. gives it the luxury look
If the crowd is shouting for an encore, but the sound guy is shaking his head, ignore him and play anyway
