How can you say that your's is the same year as mine ?

Cheers. Mine's been to hell and back. I should show you a "before" pic when I first got it. The Kahlers were only installed on the first year of the Model 5, so I know yours is the same as mine. As for being rare, nahhhh...

Out of interest what is the difference between the Model 5 and 6?

Lovely guitar by the way, do you have any idea which pickups it has? Will most likely be a sticker on the back of them saying something like J-90 (or another number).

Not a lot, except you have two singles instead of an neck humbucker, plus binding and shark-fins. Oh yeah, the individual switches for each pickup (instead of the five-way blade). I love the singles on my Sixes for clean stuff.
