Choose purely on Spec

This is a semi-blind poll. I'm going to buy one of the following guitars, but my mind is not made up. I'm turning to the JCF community to help me decide.

Choose purely on specs - I'm not going to give away either of the makes or models of the two guitars. Also, please don't turn this into a "guess the guitar" thread - I'll reveal what they are after I've made my decision, so assume everything else is equal if I leave out some specifications.

Guitar 1:
Neck-thru construction
Mahogany Body, laquer finish
Mahogany neck, laquer finish
Ebony fingerboard
Stop-tail
1 hum

Guitar 2:
Neck-thru construction
Alder body, laquer finish
Maple neck, satin/raw finish
Ebony fingerboard
OFR
1 hum

Assume body and headstock shape are the same
Assume the finish on the body is the same
Assume the electronics are the same
Assume all unmentioned hardware is the same
Assume I won't be performing any mods to the guitar after purchase (thanks Sunbane! )

Which would you choose and why?

Those two are radically different guitars...

Hard to decide...On one hand I'm addicted to OFRs, but on the other hand I know the OFR on #2 is likely to be recessed, and I don't like that - so I would pick #1 and have it Floyded!

IMHO, the bridge type is usually a much bigger consideration than type of wood or neck finish. So - for this guitar - do you want a Floyd or not? Therein lies your answer.

#2 - I like my mahagony in a Gibson, and #1 is no Gibson.

I'd go for option #2 for that reason, but also because I like unfinished maple necks....

#2 - But clear laquer on Alder is probably not going to look as good as on mahogany. May want a maple cap on it.
