  • Jackson Star model

Were there any production models of these beauties or are they only made in the custom shop?

  • #2
CS only, if you're referring to Jackson star bodies (not Jackson Stars - the Japanese franchise)....
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

Some retailers sell them. In other words, you don't have to order them yourself. They're already in the stores at custom shop prices. For instance: this is from DCGL.

Why not go with the Charvel Star (USA Standard Star Guitars)?

If they still make them, that is. The were available in 2005.

They still are, according to the Charvel website. http://www.charvel.com/

              I love my Charvel Star!

But it's a thru neck or like Archtop pro a set neck.?

The DCGL one looks like a neck thru, like a Soloist.

I have a lot of GAS for the J2SP but with the guitar sold and with the 150 dollars a month I get I want something "cheap" and cool. The Charvel looked pretty cool. How much do you have to pay for these beauties?

Well, it's still on but I need the cash to pay him! I hope he doesn't get tired of waiting, cuz I want that friggin amp!

Soon 2AM in the morning and I have a maths test at like 10AM. I am screwed Nighty..

Edit: $1500 for a Charvel Star.. way too much for me :P

Yeah but if you look the back, you see a little half circle at the end of neck like Archtop pro :

                          Its a set neck.

Its very similar than this star, no.?

No, the Star is neck-thru. You can see the neck going all the way through to the end of the body.
