custom warrior idea

in all this time, not one jcf'er has posted pix of a carved top warrior, presumably because there is still a backlog on orders or it's too expensive. i want one myself, but am concerned as to the effects on the general aspects of the warrior body - scalloped horns, bevels etc. ideas? thoughts? pix?

here's what i was considering:
7 string construction
white binding on fingerboard and headstock
24 fret ebony board w/ shark inlay at 12th fret only, slanted cut 21st fret at top e (the opposite of that on a warrior pro)
standard jackson h/s
EMG-7 humbucker (whichever that happens to be)
carved top body in black or tobacco sunburst
original floyd-7
1 vol, 1 tone
black hardware

Check out the archtop death angel from Summer Namm 2004, this might give you an idea on how the warrior could turn out.

Yup. Paulbag has one like it. It might work on a Warrior body, or it might look like a Warrior with some sort of swelling

What I'd like to see is a flattop Warrior with body binding and King Kelly Kutz

actually, the idea was to make the guitar as unique as possible, that's all. another member has the first carved top RR, so i was thinking of the first carved top warrior, only making it 7 string to push it even further..

Thanks man! Although I don't aim to look like any of my heroes, it still is nice to hear such a comment (yeah I know, I'm childish, hee heee).

anyway, back on topic : to original poster > I know it's not exactly what you stated/intended, but why make it as unique as unique can be? Just for the sake of it?
Also, I think an archtop warrior would be great... if done properly : would it be a carved top, or a soft archtop ?

i was thinking the same arch level as on the dkmg. can you illustrate the difference between the two types? ok, doesn't necessarily have to be 7 string. essentially, my dream warrior would be what my wrmg should have been. - i want my warrior with the spec jackson advertised it as - frikkin carved top body, dammit.
