  • Hey guys + Question.

    hey guys.
ive been viewing the site for a while now and thought id join.

well as im sure we all know, christmas is coming and im looking to get a new guitar.
i was thinking a js30dk and then using that as a base to do mods on e.g: EMG's, OFR. and i was wondering, how is it?(playibility, feel, quality etc.)

i will probably be changing the stock pickups first but would still like to know how they sound and how is the floyd on it??

pics would be cool too if any one has one or just has pics of one

im sure that someone will say just get the dxmg but as im only 15 i cannot get enough money all at one time!!! AND the js30dk has more features that i prefer (dots basically lol).

thanks for any help u can give
    steve

for mod practice, that's fine for active EMG's. the floyd is a low profile, and therefore a love or hate thing. i wouldn't put duncans or other passives in a cedro body.

      cheers for replying!

so will i be ok replacing the floyd an original FR or will it hold up fine??

any particular reason why you would say no to passives in the cedro.

and if anyone has any pics of any of the slightly cheaper jacksons (MG series and below) i would be really appreciative if i could have a peak!

Crafted with the demands of the discernible player in mind, Jackson guitars give you the shapes, finishes and tones you love. From the venerable Rhoads, Soloist, Warrior and more, shop Jackson for the highest performance.
