  • Difference between RR5 and RR1T?

Hello everyone, I am the proud owner of a brand new black RR5 with gold hardware. I am curious as to what makes my RR5 different from the RR1T? As a side note, I purchased an RR3 first but decided that I would rather not have to deal with possible tremolo/tuning issues.

fretboard wood, inlay material, (i think also fretboard radius), binding, nut material

the majority of the diference is in the details.

Actually, with Binding and ebony it would be a Custom RR-1T with MoTO inlays

Its all in the details. But those extra details will cost you a lot more money. Pickups are the same, both neck thru and no one can really fault japanese build quality. RR5 is still a great guitar in its own right. If you cant afford a RR1T right now( and dont worry you arnt the only one!) then an RR5 would be a good choice.

Thanks again everyone for your replies. This RR5(2006 model) is my first professional guitar; My other guitar is a Schecter Omen 6. The Rhoads has the Schecter beat hands-down quality wise and also ease of playing.

Mine does too. Some came through that way. I like it though, because it looks old school. I believe that mine is a 2004. I got it new from Vwall.
