I don't think I saw the Sl-3 in your list.
Good idea for this but it could take a while before the it comes together.
How about getting some help from Jackson with this? They might have some database stuff done already for this kind of information.

@neilli: Yes the KV Pro was the Mustaine Sig.

      Concepts:
I know about the JRR-94, JDR-94 and JDX-94... there are probably more.

Thanks for the updates. My PC is tied up with a video conversion for work, so I'll have to wait till that's done before I can update the list.

And I know I had the Rhoads Pro in there once - musta accidentally deleted it while sorting them alphabetically and deleting duplicates.

Anyhoo, there was an import Star. I had one. White with a red/orange lightning bolt graphic, reverse headstock, 2 zebra hums, a non-recessed JT580 trem (non-LP - looked like an OFR), maple bolt on with rosewood and dots (wide 12th fret spacing), V/T/3-way blade.

I believe these were made in India as the body was made of Cedro. I found this out when I drilled a 3rd hole and installed the JE2000 bass circuit in it (added a bit of low-end growl to the already amazing pickups - sounded like cabinet thump to me).

                    Also forgot the Zoraxe

Roundhorn Vs and Custom Shop Firebirds and such: personally I count those as being "too Custom" to be counted here, as they would have to be tracked down and catalogged to warrant inclusion. I doubt the collectors who own most of those would be willing to share that info, but since this is a group effort, if anyone's interested in tackling that kind of thing, be my guest.

The DK-1F was one I saw on Ebay recently. DK-1 with a Raspberry Burst finish, I think over flamed maple. The pic of the factory hangtag said 'DK1F' on it, so I'm assuming that means "flametop". Maybe it's just an internal designation to denote which ones get a trans-over-flametop finish?

                        Great Initiative, Newc.

One of the Charvel Acoustics was the 325SLX
(img)I can post pics when Photobucket is back up.(/img)
IIRC they were also available in Tobaccoburst and black.

Also, Re Euro models: there were 2 runs of CS USA stratheads over here in ´90 and ´91. The ´90 ones were 75 in Trans red and 75 in trans blue, these were marketed as reissues though they were in reality only a 2 identical CS runs ordered by then distributor Zitrone Musik. The ´91 run was the ´91 limited edition strathead, an official Lim Ed.. I think there were 150 of those as well. Those may be a good idea to include, as at least over here they´re not all that uncommon and they can cause some confusion when they pop up.

AT-1: in ´96-97 only with Wilkinson trem, then later revamped with Wilkinson trem or hardtail (I think in ´99/ 2k, or?),therefore from then on AT-1 +AT-1T. These were AFAIK all bolt on.

IMO we also should add some of the more common variations on standard shapes, such as the King Kelly and King Rhoads

BTW, Robert Witte´s site is still accessible thanks to the Internet wayback machine, it may help:
