hey guys ,im from australia.cool site,i love jackson/charvel guitars and have one of each,so far.i have a dinky custom and a model 6 charvel built in 87..i have a question and no doubt its a noob one but im gonna ask,i understand that the model 6 has active electronics but are the p/u active as well or not?i ask as my jackson[and my esp for that]is fitted with emgs and i have done the 18v mod.can this be done to the model 6?any feedback appreciated

Welcome! Nice guitars you have there!

Those pickups are passive and have an active preamp (called JE1200). I don't know if you can make a 18v mod for it though...

close but not quite.its actually a jem[vai]prototype.the man him self has seen and played this guitar.

all my gear.jackson dinky custom,charvel model 6,ibanez jem[vai prototype],58 strat[a real one still undergoing a restoration],ESP sv standard [its very close to a RR].jcm 900 head ,1960 angled 4x12 cab,boss gt6 that i run 4cm and various peddles i no longer use.dimarzio cables and straps and some fender california cables.i have a peavy xxx head on the way and another jackson and esp on the way to add to my collection..some better pics.
