Isn't the new/current SLS short scale?
          Then there's the KV2T.

There's also the older Fusions and the 1990-91 Warrior Pro.

There's plenty of 24 3/4" scale Jacksons out there, and they go cheap enough to afford several of them.

Nope. My hands are much too large and powerful, and I play way too fast for short scale axes. I've tried playing on 24.75" scale guitars, and I overheat the fretboard which causes the neck to warp, frets lift, and sometimes even the neck wood gets discolored from the heat buildup. It all has to do with friction. On a longer scale neck, the whole assembly has a little time to cool down between notes which is good for me.

Matter of fact, I'm waiting for Jackson to either come out with a 38" scale guitar, or maybe a liquid cooled neck of some sort. I dunno.

Can you scallop a fretboard with largish inlays like sharkfins?

                    I love the short scale!

Same here All my main players are short scale.Three AT Pros a Edwards LP , 1990 Carvin DC145 and my CS SL2H Mah.The only long scale guitars I own is my 88 and Carvin Bolt plus.

I would love to see a SLATQH in 24.75 or a SL2H Mah with both a OFR an ST.The recent SLS was cool but the body and headstock killed it for me.Or better yet just reissue the Archtop Pro or 750XL.

The Fusions seem to be the easiest short scale to find .With everything else being a lot harder to come by.

i'm strictly a 24 fret player. every guitar i've wanted/bought was only available in 24 anyway.

A resurrection of the Soloist Archtop Pro would rule.

But I wouldn't buy one, because the one I own rules supreme!

what has that got to do with 24 3/4" scale length?

it matters not to me whether Jackson reintroduces a short scale model. I love my Fusions, but I could jump up and down about what I want Jackson to start making (again) for nothing, because it's highly unlikely I'll be buying a new Jackson anytime soon anyway. And there are still plenty of secondhand Fusions floating about.

"Made in USA & with an OFR" was totally implied in the title.
I've been on the lookout for a USA Fusion (or maybe even a 750xl) in my area, so long as the neck ain't too thin.
