I've been on the lookout for a USA Fusion (or maybe even a 750xl) in my area, so long as the neck ain't too thin.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Stilletto Duece 1/2 Stack, MkIII Mini-Stack, J-Station, 12 spaces of misc rack stuff, Sonar 4, Event 20/20, misc outboard stuff...
Why do I still want MORE?

Sure, I could custom order one, but that's really not what I'm getting at. I wish gtr companies were more like clothing companies. I'd like the choice of trying a Soloist, off the rack, in more than 1 size. Not just for me, for everyone.
Sure, you'll alway get those who say, "a Soloist isn't a Soloist unless it has a 25.5 scale", and "a Les Paul aint a Les Paul unless it's 24.75", and "a strat ain't a strat unless it's 25.5", blah, blah, blah, fart.
I bought a Dickies Hoodie Yesterday in a Medium. I love it. I hated the large, though.
Smell what I'm steppin' in?

USA Fusion = thin neck
To be honest, I don't notice a heck of a lot of difference in the neck feel of my Fusion versus my 25.5 scale guitars. Also, 22 frets or 24 frets don't seem to make much of a difference to me either. Some days I'm in the mood for the Model 2, some days the Fusion, and other days the Skull and Snakes. Scale length and number of frets isn't a part of the thought process when I want to pick one of my guitars up.
I'll put my Schaller Floyded guitars up against an OFR any day of the week too.

well IIRC before the 750XL (which debuted in 1989) pretty much everything was a custom guitar...
