Totally different opinion here.....I'd leave those rings and put Gibson Tony Iommi signature pickups in it. The smooth chrome finish (no screws) of the TI pickups would look absolutely awesome in that guitar IMO. Plus the chrome look of the pups would match with the chrome hardware. Later on, I might try chrome rings just to see but I envision that being too much.

BTW, TI pickups sound pretty damn good too.

Nice guitar! I'd go for black or zebra with black rings. I had a usa kelly i bought without trying. Really wanted to like it, but had problems with upper fret access.
