Campbell huh, I like hanging around the Westfield mall there, which is to me the best mall ever, even better than the one in San Francisco. I play a little, but couldn't not afford two guitar lesson classes, so he started the classes, good thing he did, because I don't think I could be like him in this short amount of time.

I think you did the right thing based on his enthusiasim(sp) and his apparent talent. There is nothing worse that having the "nack" and a junk guitar. That is unless you go back to the guys that got us where we are today. That's all they had. The funny thing is that they played the junkers and made great music. Talent is everything. A fast start on a good guitar is just icing.
