Explorer vs Kelly contour

Yep, like the original King Kelly. Then they made a medium size, then they made it smaller again for Marty Friedman to the size we all know today.

I like both. The Gibson is not really THAT big of a guitar. It is also the most comfy body style for me when I used to play out. My right arm sits perfectly on the body and puts my picking hand right on the money.

I wish I could have a Jackson Explorer to go with my 2 Gibsons.

It was at one time. It was in his ebay store for awhile, but I think he might have taken it out from there, too. You can find pics of it at the top of the forum in the gallery.

I liek them both. I think a Kelly is easier on ones back and looks more modern. I'm a sucker for explorer shaped guitars, but they're bigger than they seem.
