• Batteries for Active Electronics???

Just curious to know what type of batteries everyone uses in their active guitars. Alkaline? Rechargable? Alternate ideas?

I usually use Duracell 9v batteries. But I've never found a big difference between batteries in guitars because they don't suck juice the way, say, effects pedals can.

I don't believe that rechargeable batteries are recommended for guitars, but I could be mistaken about that. In any event, guitar batteries last long enough that I don't think the cost of non-rechargeables is that bad.

Actually, for some reason, ni cad batteries just plain don't work in any of the guitars i've owned with active electronics. *kh-2, EMGs in my ibanezs, and a black explorer*

Duracel and Energizer seem to work pretty good for me Especialy with my bass.

Yeah, as far as rechargables I've never tried them but wanted to know what others were using. I'm always tyring to improve!
Thanks for the info!
