Best way to search the JCF at this point is to use Google and add "site:www.jcfonline.com" after your search terms. Works way better and gives results that go further back in time.

Holy cow, dg! It works great, thanks

I just did a test run, put this in Google:
"i'd be all over it. Jack site:www.jcfonline.com"

          ...and I got 344896743543867+329486 hits!!

Now try "Needs a Floyd" or "too bad about the Kahler"

Thank you very much for that excellent advice. I had pretty much given up searching the JCF, since I have had so little success with its search. This is a great alternative.

+1 the JCF search function leaves little to be desired. Glad the Google advanced search options actually works for this forum.

I must be the only one who can use the search the "old way"

Here's a little comparison. A few years ago I asked about putting a collared arm on a JT-6. I even remember that the title of my thread was something like "Adding Collared arm to JT-6 Trem." Let's see if I can find it using the the terms "JT-6 collared arm"...

JCF search results: "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."
