  • Green Ghost Flame question

I always thought the Ghost flame graphics were just flat colors (no metallic or metal flake whatever you call it) I just got a GGF and even the base is metallic all over the guitar (front/back of body and back of neck) as well as the flames are metallic. Have they been done both ways on production models? I could have sworn I have seen them with non-metallic colors
Of course this is a great opportunity to post your GF guitars
    Thanks
    Dave

My blue ghost flame is metallic in both the base color and flames. I'm curious if others have seen the flat colors in the ghost flames - not sure if I've ever seen one like that.

I know this is a CS but it looks flat. Maybe just the pics I have seen the flakes dont show up

My BGF KV2 was metallic, and personally I'd say that the Fuller's Soloist looks metallic as well....

To the best of my knowledge, all of the production ghost flame graphics - blue, red, green, black (which is actually purple, but I digress) - have been both metallic flames and metallic base coats. Flames are always the same color as the base coat, but the base is a much darker shade. i.e., Light blue translucent flames over very dark blue base, etc.

The only exception on a J/C that I've ever seen is my custom. Metallic RGF over a base of high gloss non-metallic black. I spec'd it that way, so the flames stand out more.

My GGF SL2H will be here Friday - i wll let you know. My Blue and Red GF's are all metallic though...VERY killer graphic!

I need black and I will have them complete...still looking for a good deal on a black GF SL2H!

IMO the base should always be black for Red, Green, or Blue Ghost Flames.

Wouldn't mind seeing Black Ghost Flames over a Pearl White base
