  • I'm building a RR (pics).

It's my first build, but I think it's going pretty well so far. I'll put up more pics as the work progresses.

    Nice flame on the neck.

    My sad "template"

    And the family shot.

    I love that family shot.
    Just one more guitar!

Do you maybe want to sell the Yellow RR Professional?... :P

Great work and keep us fed with new pics every once and a while!

Yes, it is a nice flame.

Hmmm....well, not right now since it's my template! Besides, I like the inverted Wildchid guitar!

(and you KNOW you need 24 frets anyway...)

Alder. I stick to what I'm familiar with.

Will you be making fretboard yourself too? Where did you get those MOP inlays? What are the woods you're using?

It's an ebony fretboard from Stewmac.com, the MOP sharkfins were from Luthiersupply.com. I had to cut the inlay slots myself.

                      Oh, I'm tempted!

It probably weighs about 30 pounds right now though!

                          Cool project!

But you shouldn't wire the pickup to the tremolo. Not yet.

I don't think Randy would approve of that!

Ha! I guess the wire just curled up to make it look like they were connected.
