nice one, john! sorry she didn't go for it...
not to be a tease, but there's a bit of tweaking we need to do with the store, so hold off on orders til we letcha know.
drs racing, if you meant the jackson scripted logo, we can't do that for obvious reasons. if you meant the jcf logo you see on the board, they are/will be available.
Printing on dark shirts is very difficult to do well and usually requires heavier ink deposits and flashing (partial drying) between colors. The flashing slows the printing process and therefore costs more. Colors printed on darks usually require a white undercoating of ink to be printed and flashed to add opacity and brightness. This requires an additional color and therefore screen to be paid for as well.
White was by a long ways the cheapest...

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">So you're saying metalsludge.com has the JCF beat on t-shirt tech and colors? It's a sad day in Jacksonland.........
Seriously, I think more folks would pay more for a black shirt, as I basically won't buy a white T-shirt no matter what's on it. Metalheads love black T-shirts!
Ah well, there are coffee mugs and baseball hats. Watch though, I bet the
light T-shirts sell slowly...
Btw my shop paid $8.50 each for Hanes Beefy-T Pocket Tees in red, blue, black or burgundy, with pocket-size logo in front and 8"x12" logo on back, both logos in white, with a $30 setup fee to silkscreen the logo. Something comparable to the "No Frills" Metal Sludge shirt, with a simplified logo, wouldn't be that hard, and I bet you'd sell 10x as many black shirts as white, even if the white shirts have nicer logos. I'm just saying...........
The company we are going through to make and distribute these only give us that option. Like it or not, black shirts are not an option at this point in time.
Hey, Lerx, too bad you can't change your screen name, you could be known as "A" - A=440

Anyhoo, I already sent my order through earlier - hopefully it went through. I almost got the regular short sleeved shirt, but I can't wear those beefy-t's - too thick for me in TN's humidity
Ah well, I'll just cut the jersey sleeves off
POCKETS for us SMOKERS woulda been nice, but then I've never seen a jersey with a pocket - damn.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Would that make me the "Fonzie" of the JCF? A! AAAAAA!!
Speaking of the Fonz, just cut the sleeves short, but not ALL the way off, and sew yourself up a cig pouch. The tough guys used to roll the packs up in their sleeve back in the day; yours would
just be more 'custom'.
Sandiman, didn't mean offense; just giving feedback as a prospective customer. Like I said, I'd just get a hat or a coffee mug instead; what's wrong
with that?
White "metal" type shirts are just gay, that's all....
