Yes, those are 2.5mm. If you used a 2.5 and turned but they didn't come loose and aren't stripped, try putting a small drop of 3 in 1 oil on the threads where they enter the back of the string block/saddle to "unbind" them. Also, with the JT6 those funky string blocks tend to seize if left sitting for long periods of time so a little oil there may help as well to loosen them.

Maybe. Those locking screws are hard to find I have a set I bought of ebay that are aircraft grade steel just not used them yet.I find just cutting the slots in the head works so good I haven't had to replace them yet.Good for another 20 years or so.Really? well screw Mark Twain.

Well after inspecting those screws I find that they are not eaten in the head at all and look in superb condition, the size should be maby 2.6 instead of 2.5, 2.5 leaves a little space.. so before I'm going to use a dremel on those heads I'm gonna look for a different size allen key in a professional tool store. As I am convinced that they are different size.. I even tried to use a mini hand saw on the head and it didnt even scratch the metal.. they are super strong screws it seems!
Well hope I find the right key.. And I thank you all for the good ideas
