I have an ESP MH400NT, the neck is far away from fast it is kinda chunky and for a $600 it feels kinda cheap, go for jackson

And you got anti-Jackson replies there and anti-ESPee replies here.

Neither side will give a side-by-side unbiased review of them, you have to find them and decide for yourself.

Since the ESPee is a Jackson copy, would you rather have a copy or the original?

but seriously bro- havent played the LTD but from looking at the specs the DK2M is a much better deal. Go ahead, you know you wanna

I own both of these guitars and as torquemada said, the MH-400 neck is chunky and not as fast as the DK2M. The licensed trem on the LTD sucks donkey balls...feels really cheap too. Otherwise the LTD is a pretty good guitar IMO but, I prefer the sound/quality of the Jackson though. Don't let the bells and whistles of the LTD sway you, the Jackson is just a better quality guitar.
I would suggest playing them if you can, the neck shapes are very different.

Depending if you want EMGS give the DKMG a look. And yeah, I dont like ESP licensed trems. They're really cheap and finicky.
