What If Jackson Guitars Never Were?

That's right, what if our beloved instruments never became created? Would there have been Kramer, Ibanez, ESP, and other "Super Strat" companies? If so, how much later than the late 70's early 80's would this have happened? When would the compound radius have been developed? Would Rhoads have continued playing Gibsons and Sandovals for the rest of his career? What would Robbin Crosby have sought? And all the other greats? How differently would their playing have evolved without this great invention? Your thoughts, please.

There'd be no ESPee or Ibenhad copies of Jackson designs, so there's one major benefit

If the launch was simply delayed rather than never happening at all, Rhoads would have either gone with Gibson or Sandoval, and maybe Dean would have given him a second look once Blizzard took off.

Maybe we'd all be playing Deans now as well as Charvels (EVH was still the one that put Charvel on the map before Rhoads did Jackson).

If Charvel had stayed as a parts house for DIYers, would we even be having this discussion?
