Is that snakeskin the standard snakeskin? Because it looks lighter than all of the snakeskin SL1s I have seen

Yeah, it's the standard snakeskin finish. Maybe it's lighter because of the nature of the light or flash from the photo? I agree that it normally looks darker, like the RR1 in the recent thread in the USA section.

I think it was an option for a very short time and wasnt very popular. I love it because its so imperfect. Its doesnt photograph well because of the flip flop, and its painted on the back of the body and all the way up the neck. I find alot of finishes to be too perfect resulting in a sterile looking guitar. Here is a pic of mine.......

im still havign trouble debating what finish to get.
and also what model now hahah. Sl2 or Sl1 ... the more i think about it, the harder it gets.

how diff. are the lightning bolt graphics? ive seen some on here looking a bit diff. but i wasnt sure if it was a standard light. finish.

also im in love with the shattered glass w/blood but ive only ever seen it on this CS soloist.

If you want something different that alot don`t have, get Yellow/Gold Pearl, sweet stock color!! Jack.
