I cant wait to see how she gets better and more comfortable on stage and loosen up
It may never happen. She's still amazing though. I saw her 4 or 5 years ago when she was 13. She already signed endorsements. She's 17 or 18 now. She's plenty used to the stage at this point.
Kids are like that these days. A nuclear bomb could go off next to my nieces and nephews and they wouldn't notice. They're just waiting for their cell phone/blackberry/ipod to ring.
But their is something exciting to see a musican to really get into it when they are playing well. She plays like me "dont fuck up! dont fuck up!dont fuck up!dont fuck up!" except I have no talent
She's a machine! She's very good, but lacks emotion and soul. A very mechanical player. I agree we need to see more of them and kids in general playing instruments. Good Stuff! Thanks for the post!
Tone is like Art: Your opinion is valid. Listen, learn, have fun, draw your own conclusions.
I'm telling you it's this younger generation. They are just beat down. No imagination. Run to this practice, that practice, they're whole frickin' lives revolve around a schedule. I'm a parent too, and I don't know what I'm going to do. Let my kid out of the house into the city on her own in this day and age? Probably not.
It'll be very different than when I was a kid. We were gone for hours on end.
She is surely good. But lacks all the qualities of a rock star. Randy was all of what you wanted in a guitar hero. If that chick had a dick, it was being stroked, and that's all it was, wanking off. Randy had the look, the presence, and the abilities.
"Got a crazy feeling I don't understand,
Gotta get away from here.
Feelin' like I shoulda kept my feet on the ground
Waitin' for the sun to appear..."
