I throw out my 3M Micro fiber cloth,see ya. I just used my "Meguiars-Quik Detailer" (have a bucket full of car stuff)with a terry cloth wash cloth and WOW!!!! that worked great.I sprayed onto the cloth first (per advice) and it easily cleaned it,2-3 swipes,flipped cloth Done.
Next restring,im going to Quik Detail it, folllowed by a coat of Collonite,which leaves no white residue which is nice feature.
Now I can play the San Dimas longer than I was cleaning it.
The Meguiars smells way better ( yeah cherry)than the Gibson polish, that smells weird. So now my Black Cherry Charvel really smells like Cherry.
Thanx for all the advice,tips and feedback.Not feeling the blues any longer.

Nice guitar! I dont bother to keep my Charvel clean as it doesnt hold smudges (due to my lame paint job lol), and my Jackson I just got sick of trying to keep clean Highly lacquered guitars are hard to keep clean, but when you're doen the results are worth it.

"renaissance wax" is a micro sumthin or other high tech wax..... it's a little pricey for a small jar.... but that jar will last a very long time.

The neat thing about this product..... is thatfinger prints dont show up on the surface treated with this wax...... Save ya a big hassle cleaning wouldnt it?!
