Oooh... good point... the Hercules would match the colors of my (soon to arrive) RR24 Limited quite nicely

totally forgot about this thread ...

I got a Hercules stand 2 weeks ago, liked it so much I went and bought a second one. I got the one where there is a little fold out thing that the back of the guitar rests on, so that the wings of the Rhoads is not touching anything.

Perfect stands for my RR-1 Bengal and RR-24 Limited. Just so happens that both guitars have quite a bit of yellow on them, so even the color scheme of the stands fit!!

I have 3 Ultimate stands too, one of which was designed specifically for Rhoads and other extreme shapes, but I like the Hercules MUCH better.

Thanks to all who suggested Hercules to me

I've got the Herc that holds two geets, and the only thing I hold against it is that the floor legs aren't padded...like the single guitar version.

I have to balance my Dean ML "just so", or else if I'm careless (or somebody else is) the tips of the body can bang against the leg.

Anybody a good place to find adhesive black foam?

Maybe a hobby-shop or craft store?

Weather stripping tape (I think it comes in black) or even foam pipe insulation should work. You can find both at most hardware stores.

Anyone tried a warrior on one of the double ones? I need one for the Avenger and maybe the Warrior at the same time?

The Warrior is a Stealth copy, so you should be fine. I have the triple (which is similar to the double) and have no problems.
