  • How Many Neck Sizes?

Fender offers 6 different strat necks from baseball bat "D"'s down to Clapton "V"s.
My DK1 has a different nack than my SL2H did. Does anyone know how many different neck styles Jackson offers?

Isn't it "one size fits all" now that FMIC bought out Jackson?

Kidding aside, KE3 necks are just slightly thinner than DK1/DK2 necks, but mostly they all have the same width (fret length) measurements. Korean made Performers have baseball bats instead of necks. I shaved one by about 2mm and it still feels thick. Maybe because the fretboard is much thicker.....

Click on the description of each guitar on Jackson's site.

Also, here's the measurements from the catalog.

Also, I don't know why they don't list the Mark Morton model in the catalog, but they do on the website... it seems to be the biggest, fattest profile they have, and I love it!

There are at least 5 different 'standard' neck profiles for Jackson... three of which are current...

        KV/Warrior Speed Neck

There's also at least two current neck shapes for Charvel - pointyhead and strathead. Both are thin, but slightly different. There's also the PC1 profile - thick and round.
