yes and no. some of the pointies seem to have a thicker carve to them, and the strathead neck i have of theirs is on the thinner yet magical side. i'd definitely enjoy them on their own merits; they made great stuff back then.Comment

they pop up on ebay now and then. you'll have better luck finding a pointy, but most of them (if not all of the ones that i've seen) will need a kahler nut, or a floyd nut conversion. that is, assuming that you'll have a floyd on there.

yep, chandler. the only thing that's different is that there's no chandler stamp in the neck pocket. but the routs and body shape match.
