1. Artist Similar guitars- means you cant place an order exactley like your favorite artist's guitar.
So does this mean after I finally have the cash to order my Hanneman replica I can forget about it? Do you think I could slide in under the radar since it's just a black Soloist with a Kahler and EMG pickups and SPC, or will they nix it because my control layout will be the same as his?
All logic says that a plain black Kahler'd Soloist with a Hanneman control layout should be OK as it's pretty annonymous, but with the way things are now, who knows?
Also, I heard that they recently made Jeff another Soloist, so his specs will be fresh in people's minds, so it's more likely to get spotted....
Of course, his original Soloist had a different layout to his ESPs....
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get
Anybody know about unique PU placement, like a Humbucker in the Bridge and Middle position like Carpenders 7 string from Deftones?
I wouldnt say thats unique- Vivian Campbell's Kramer Nightswan had that PU confiuration. Also, late 80s import Kramer Vanguards and modern Kramer Vanguards have that configuration too
