Heres what the new interface looks like:
I have invested hundreds upon hundreds of hours into this project over the past 4 years. I am pleased that it has become a popular part of this forum, and I am honored to have contributed to everyone's enjoyment of this fantastic site. I constantly check the Guitar Generator thread to see all of the ideas you have come up with.
Now the catch. I will be selling copies of the new generator on CD-ROM. I imagine this may upset some people. However, I would really like to buy a new guitar this year as it's been two years since I've treated myself to one. Typical expenses for a married father of two (house payment and upgrades, car transmissions, etc.) have gotten in the way of that. This side project is a nice way for me to segregate a few bucks for a new axe.
I have discussed this with the admins of the site, and they have no problem with my decision. For now, the plan is to keep the old version (version 3) on the JCF. Down the road, the new version may surface here or elsewhere, but for the forseeable future, the only place to get this version will be from the CD.
Visit the "Dealer Ads" section of this site for my ad, and follow the link in the ad to my site for purchasing information.
I hope you all enjoy the changes to the generator.
Regards,
- Eric (Liquid Pixel Shop)
