Why not just buy a CS Charvel? Or is the Jackson Logo and neckplate a deal breaker, even if they´re made by the same people, on the same machines, using the same wood?

Not a bad idea actually. My local store only had DK2 & DK2M models in stock today plus a few Rhoads. Having checked the half dozen or so Charvel dealers in the UK online today, every one of them has an Eddie Van Halen model but nothing else. I guess I'll have to wait a wee while, in the meantime Matt's Music will be my next port of call. Thanks guys, the quest shall continue.
