I've just inherited a Jackson Charvel Guitar from my uncle but I have no idea what kind it is!! It's serial number is 950340 but that's basically all I know. I love playing it but it would be nice to know what kind it is/when it was made.. Can anyone help? I would put an attachment up but I can't work out how..

Tim: A pix would be great.Youll need a place like "photobucket" to store them, then C&P the link,click the yellow box in the header with the mountains and paste into there. That would be your best bet. Than we can tell you what model etc.

Tekky directed you to another thread that contains tips for you to help us ID the guitar, and that thread is referenced there also.

In the meantime, is it a Charvel or a Jackson? What body style? Ser # tells us it should be a bolt-on from 1995.

You didn't read it close enough. He wrote "I've just inherited a Jackson Charvel Guitar" I didn't see Charvel by Jackson in there.
Plus, 950340 is a Jackson import serial, not a Charvel serial.

Tim... post pics if you can. If not, a good description goes a long way.

I wouldn't think it was a Jackson/Charvel (i.e. Model model) with that serial.

That serial belongs to a 1995 Jackson import, though it may have a Model model neck on it.
