  • Fun With Custom Shop Generator Version 4.x

I just received the new Custom Guitar Generator. Eric did a great job on the generator and it is well worth the price of admission. Here is my guitar I made with it.

    Well done Eric!

If only the custom shop would build it for you.

It's well worth it to a lot of people - namely those of us who have been here long enough to have followed along with its development over the years and know how much work Eric has put into it.

Eric put a lot of time into the generator. It would be doing him an injustice to expect it for free. FWIW there's more in the hard coded generator than there is on the site here....

Much more. I don't have a lot of plans on buying more custom shop guitars right now but I used the Generator quite a bit over the last few years and Eric deserves every bit for what he is charging for the new version. I am happy to support him.

I would most likely buy it if I planned on buying a CS guitar. I do not have the kind of money to afford one at this point in time.

I'm grateful enough to have access to the free version on this forum. Naturally, I cannot buy the V4 CSG because I don't have a credit card (no comment ).

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.

                              Here's one of my own:

This example shows three of the generator's new features: the Collen archtop shape, the ability to load a graphic on the fretboard, and the ability to load a graphic on the headstock.
