  • Which one?

This summer I'm buying a new guitar. I need some opinions on both of these guitars. Aside from names, which one would be the better buy? I'm wanting the RR type shape, 24 frets, trem, and 1 hum. Any other suggestions would be nice too.

    RR24:

    OR

    Alexi 600:

    Any help is appreciated!

wrong place to ask, expect a bias opinion,

jackson is better, IMO real emg 81 not that HZ crap, real ping floyd, from what i have heard, better inlays design but not material. and better over all look.
"slappy, slappy" bill sings, happily, as he dick slaps random people on the streets of Cleveland.

The LTD has an OFR too. (I'm not sure what you meant)

I hear that the Alexi has an amazing neck. Since they're so similar, the choice should be based on which guitar feels better to YOU. After all, it will be YOUR guitar.

Well, I have played the LTD, and it plays great. And yes, it has an OFR.

Play an RR24 (not sure if it's in most stores yet), compare 'em. I think they're around the same price.

              RR24 is about $1200

              Alexi-600 is $1049.99

My friend eneded up paying only $1100 for his with a coffin case, 100 picks, and straplocks.

For me, it's all about the neck. As I have not played the RR24 yet, I can't say. Anyone know any good music stores near Gatlinburg, TN that might have RR24's in?

Oh, if it's all about the neck, go for the Alexi. IMO

I mean, I like both body styles, the paintjobs, but if it doesn't have a playable neck that suits me, I don't want it.

I played one of the LTD's last month and it was pretty good. The neck felt a little beefier than my RR, which I wasn't too hot on. They're about the same money, so I'd stay with a Jackson.
I'm not afraid to bleed, but I won't do it for you.
