BTW, what's up with everyone not showing serials? Especially on high-end guitars. I see a lots of guitars on eBay that have parts of the serial replaced with ***. And I've seen some of the sellers go as far as blurring out the part of the fretboard that shows the serial #! Are they afraid of duplicating or what?
I asked a ebay store guy the same and he says that its to prevent people filing a complaint claiming that their guitar with that serial number was stolen. If you bought a guitar and lost its receipt, I would think its hard to prove its yours. Just to be on the cautious side, its better not to give out the serial number. Besides, other than the first 3 or 4 digits, you dont need to know the rest if you have a legitimate enquiry.
SLY and Charlz have THE winning guitars in my book. IMO Charlz's V is beyond awesome.

+1 and absolutely correct. I do alot of target shooting & the firearms boards are the same way- If someone decides they don't like you and they can figure out who you are, they can make your life miserable.
The initial reaction to that may be, "WTF, that's ridiculous! Why would someone do such a thing!". My response would be: Why the fuck do people do anything? There's some damaged people out there. Best not to give them too much information.
So, better safe than sorry. There is no reason, or at least no worthwhile reason, for people to know a serial number chapter & verse. It doesn't help in 99% of cases to share it, and since it could hurt, why do it? No upside.
Yeah I figured they would go well with a reversed headstock.
Cant wait to see pics of your Rhoads
Mine will have regular headstock, I don't know why but I kinda hate the reverse headstock on Rhoads... btw, is there a thread with pics of your demon? if I saw right it has blue binding and abalone inlays!
