Do it yourself its really easy.There is no mystery to removing dots.Any local luthier can do it 1 day.

both maple fretboards were close in overall looks.. except for the

Ok, raise your hand if you didn't know the PC1 does not have inlays.
Seriously, 4 people in this thread have mentioned "removing" and/or "replacing" the existing dot inlays.
I say do it. You'll never get what you paid for it because your biggest target audience is the JCF Tightwads
And if a skilled luthier cannot drill holes for dots without tearing up the frets, I'd not call them a skilled luthierI want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood
