Re: Custom Shop Question
Dude, were you sleeping? You been hangin with Bin Laden all this time?
Fender's official answer was "Not no, but HELL NO!"
They do, however, offer several new and overpriced solid-topped Strats in familiar SD Charvel configurations, such as single-hum and v-trem.

Re: Custom Shop Question
Fender rep McD stated on this board that there can be no Strathead Charvels. If you are tight with someone at the Ontario shop, they can probably sneak one under the radar but it is not an option any longer.
And no I was not referring to the import Charvels. Fender has a single-hum v-trem Strat with rear-loaded electronics. All it needs is your favorite RATT or VH graphic and it's 1983.
And they start at $2300.
