  • Family Pics and I

I figured it was about time to introduce myself and share some pics of my boys.
    Let's see...........
    I'm 33, cut my hair 2 years ago ,
loved growing up in the 80's metal scene, now I mostly listen to prog metal,
I've bought 9 guitars in the last 12 months or so,
like to do as much work on them myself if I can,
    and I'm a cheap SOB.

Yeah, that pretty much sums me up.
Forgot to mention I'm happily married with 2 teenage sons who love metal also.
    Yes......I started young.

My guitar goal is to have at least 1 example of most major companies super strats from over the years.

    On to the show.

    Nice collection!
I take it someone digs Kahlers and EMG's.

    Welcome to the show!

Very cool stuff - love that Robin!
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

          Garcia guys.

I actually DON'T like Kahlers even though I have a few.
Couldn't turn them down at the price I bought them at, which was like $225-350 a piece for all my Jacksons back in the mid 90's. Miss those days!

Not bald yet, just started thinning, but I've been thankful to keep what I do have left so...........

Nelli, the Robin is my favorite of them all, best hands down, the craftsmanship is stellar.

Thought I'd mention the Yngwie copy has a scalloped MM neck, my old 86 Squire body, and everything else just like everyones favorite shredder.

The Strat at the bottom is a Allparts body, MM scalloped neck, abalone dots, Duncan & Dimarzios, and roller nut.
Put it together myself (mostly) and it is NICE!
Hell, I spent more making it than I did on any of my other guitars except the ESP!

Also, the Squire 51' is in the shop getting Duncans, reverse Strat MM scalloped all maple neck, and a brass nut.
Hopefully I'll get it back tomorrow, can't freakin wait.

It's an Artisan St, birdseye maple carved top, natural binding, ebony board, and all rail humbuckers tapped off the volume pot.

She is definetly the looker of the bunch.
