Looking for a pc1 but I'm thinking of swapping out the stock pups for some emg's. I've got the super 3 in 2 of my guitars now so I'm looking to change the tone a little. Always liked emg's and in a mahogany body should sound good.

i have EMG's in my solar PC-1. i made the switch because the sustainer died.
don't do it.
it sucks.
it makes a great guitar sound like an average guitar.
when i get around to it, they are ALL coming out and my PC-1 is going back to being a passive guitar.GEAR:
some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!
some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!
and finally....
i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

Mark... what happened to the sustainer?
I have a gnarly set of tools. I can fix anything.
Death is relative when it comes to electronics.
PM me... I may be able to repair it for you. I've fixed a few for people here before. Most issues are easily fixed.
A PC1 isn't a PC1 without a sustainer.-Rick

Had the Koa body of an SD I, but the QM top and hardware/layout of the SD III.
And of course a Maple board.-Rick
