Help! Need shipping advice for SLATQH!

Its funny, but Jackson ships the guitars new from the factory in tune and nothing more than a cardboard box with a thin piece of foam on one end of the box against the case and thats it! Why don't they have more shipping damage that we hear about?

Are you kidding me? I've seen more busted Jacksons and Charvels than I can remember. The damn things are always showing up damaged!

I don't know, I've bought quite a few new ones and even dealers who shipped to me sent them in the original box and only one arrived where Fedex crushed the side of the case, where the aluminum part is. The guitar was fine but case was toast! What I'm saying is I'm surprized so many of them arrive just fine considering how lightly Jackson packs them. Most the ones damaged in shipping that I hear about seem to be shipping between individuals not new from Jackson. But I'm no dealer and if you tell me there is more that are damaged than we know about, I won't argue that. I know you know your stuff Matt

I was gonna bid on that SLATQH, but I bought a trans red one a couple days before the bidding ended. That Cabo color is cool.
