Both were stunning. Really. the 650 had some minimal fret buzz. In the end, I like the recessed trem a bit more. I used to prefer the nonrecessed but I've changed my mind. In the end the AT Pro played better, so that's why I kept it. Ebony fingerboard, maple top, it was just too tought to let go. The Charvel had a tiny bit of buzz, the pickups weren't as nice [the AT Pro had EMG's vs. Stock Jacksons in the Charvel], and every time I pick up the AT Pro and look at the mother of pearl Jackson logo, I feel happy.

also collectibility DOES MATTER. Sorry, but it does. I have 10 guitars, so yeah, having a rare bird like my AT Pro is special to me. Out of all my guitars, I still place the Soloist XL, and my Ibanez S540ltd at the top for playability.

Thanks for the support. I really wanted to keep both, but I just couldn't do it. But thanks for enabling me..

I would agree with you to some extent, though I've never kept a guitar just because it was collectable. As a matter of fact, the 'collectible' ones were the ones I sold off, because I rarely played them. The only exception would be my Strathead Dinky, but that's my #1 player, and the battle wounds I've put on it make it less desirable to a 'collector'.... that doesn't bug me, because I play it.

However, the 650XL or AT Pro are collectable and increasing in value over the last few years, but they're far from rare...

EDIT: Oh, and stuff it, cause you DID ask for opinions :p
