MF has the white with black bevels version in stock. DCGL has all of them in stock.

Nobody stocks high end "Metal" guitars whether they are Jackson, ESP, Ibanez, whatever. It's all Chinese, Indonesian, Korean, and a couple Japanese pieces

Where *are* all of the RR24's? Aren't all the colors out now? I thought there would be a lot more pics/buzz in the forum by now.

I guess most of the guys that demanded a 24 fret Rhoads, who said they'd be a HUGE seller & they would buy one as soon as Jackson released one, were full o' shit!

Where are ANY RR24s?? I know some dealers have them but I live in a pretty big metro area (Atlanta) and between 3 GCs, a Sam Ash, and a local chain that carries some high-end Jacksons, I have not seen a single RR24! What's up with that? Jackson is not marketing this model at all, I have not seen a single ad for them in any mags for example. And when they do end up dropping it, the FMIC party line will be "they didn't sell". Well how about advertising the damn thing and getting them into stores?

a quick google shows them in stock at VWall, MF, zZounds & Music123. Poke around a bit further & find them at Matts Music, DC-GL & MusicZoo. I know there's one in stock at Guitar Garage in Brisbane - damn nice player & on the other side of the planet from the Mother Ship too

I know there are dealers that have them, like vwall, Matts, etc., but I would like to play one first and not have to pay $50 to ship it back if I don't dig it (like with MF). I am just surprised that in a metro area of 4 million people (Atlanta, GA), there is not a single one at any shops. And some of these shops have USA jacksons, so it's not a matter of them only carrying JS-series stuff.

Well the local chain (Ken Stanton) did say they weren't going to get them because they already have a couple import RRs (one RR5 and a couple RX-10Ds) that aren't moving. But the best GC around here (there are 4 in the area) is only 5 minutes from the office I'm at today, so I'm going to swing by on my lunch and ask.

I had an RR24 ordered from thomann.de for £705...but I cancelled it and got a 2nd hand US SL-1 for £800. The fear of the Floyd being a Ping was a large contributor, so I blame/thank this forum! Seems like a lot of money for a Japanese guitar with no hardcase.

I've used thomann a few times...they're a huge organisation, so don't expect the personal touch, but their prices are often UK wholesale prices making them hard to ignore. It's got to the stage where my guitar shop owner buddies are just telling me to buy from thomann because they can't match the prices.

I was waiting for the RR24 for a few weeks, which gave me time to cancel if nothing else.

I´ve been long customer in Thomann and no regrets. It´s really good company. There is small indicator bar what shows you if they have any guitars in stock.

Not sure if it's a typo or not, but the MF site lists the case as being included with the RR24. Good point on the price......it seems like Jackson may have priced themselves out of some of the market with the RR24. Also, not to get the MOP inlay debate going again, but there is no valid reason to justify not putting MOP inlays on the RR24 at its price point.

I rang Thomann to check, and they said no case...the Jackson hardcase is an extra £149.18!

No case... that's complete BS since they ship them to the dealers IN A CASE.

£149.18 for a hard case is highway robbery.

All the shops in Vegas seem to have the higher end LTD artist models like the Alexi, Gus G, that dude from Atreyu, but no RR24s. That pisses me of. Especially when they put the kibosh on ordering the Jackson Stars models in the states which all have 24 frets and a neck pickup.
