I'm pretty sure my Spectrum has an R2 nut as well.

I've come to the conclusion that model series neck = way too wide for me.

Both my old SD s-heads are 1 3/4, but I have played plenty that were 1 5/8 as well as 1 11/16 - as was stated - CS = no standard, really depended on what people ordered. My SD pointy is 1 11/16 - these seem to be more standardized, but there are exceptions of course. My old Jackson Vs are also 1 11/16.Last edited by RR05xx; 07-24-2007, 08:12 PM."I''ll say what I'm gonna say, cuz I'm going to Hell anyway!"

note:
R3 nut and R4 nut are the same width but the R3 nut has the string spacing of an R2 nut which for a 1 5/8ths nut
R3=thin
R4=wideI feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.
