Well, if done right, they can be hidden for work. I am a hotel manager, and no one knows I have tats.

I must be extremely lucky to be in my chosen field. I am sleeved on both arms and have 4 gauge circular barbells in my ears, yet I have been a senior graphic designer for the worlds largest gaming company for the past 5 years all while working in their corporate center.

I got my first tat when I was 18. I'm now 35 and have 8 tats. I haven't been tattooed in about 5 years, and I've really got the itch to get another one. I have a half-sleeve from my left wrist almost to the elbow, so I, of course, have to wear long sleeve dress shirts when I go out to work. I'm a court reporter and work with attorneys all the time, none of them know I've got tats. I have both ears pierced and haven't taken my earrings out in years, and I've only had very few comments about them throughout the 13 years I've been working. My hair is getting long again, for the first time since the early '90s, so I usually slick the top and sides back for work, and I'll probably wind up putting the back in a ponytail soon as well, but no big deal.

I love my flourescent piss yellow charvel tatt under my stones lips 'n tongue logo and snake wrapped around a musical note. the other tatt is a robo babe who'd get a black eye if she jumped rope kneeling in the sand with her bikini bottom slipping off. I've been asked to work at dozens of various companies , hair, tatts, and all. It's southern cal, no matter out here. No conforming required. I grew my hair from the beginning around 5 or 6 years old, got tatts because i liked them, and didn't cut my hair because everyone else did. Just be aggressive and you'll get the job, and cover it up at your interview, except if you live out here. -lol

I'll go with the "think about it veeeeery carefully" vote, what happens in a few years when owning a Jackson is like some secret homo code for "I love it rough, Daddy, don't mind me struggling, it turns me on to fight it"? You are going to have interesting times in toilets and bars.
And don't think it won't happen, once upon a time I wouldn't have believed Jackson would have churned out cheap £200 piles of shit to denigrate their brand. Becoming a gay icon wouldn't be that radical a move........

How old are you? What kind of job do you have?

Getting anything on your forearms or even have a 'sleeve' will FUCK any chances of a really decent job for the rest of your live, except if you're really friggin' lucky or become a rockstar.

This will be on the inside of my right forearm soon.


After that I will have a Jackson fretboard with sharkies and a Made in USA pointy heastock all the way up my right arm.
