So my Model 88 is a high of $700? I guess I'm wrong to think I would take no less than 3k for my model 88.

I think those price lists blow, but are ok for comparison purposes.

These books are always made for, and endorsed by "DEALERS!
That way they get to tell the smo' that brings in something great...
"Well the book says i cant give you anymore than $700 for it"
Then they get to sell it for $3200.00! Just like in Watches...same
        thing..Car Blue books too.

Yes, I think a 1980 Charvel star would bring in more than $800!

If you read the description it is for the hand striped and signed limited edition guitars that were auctioned off. That is probably a fairly accurate price range for those.

I love the pointy EVH stripped guitar listed as a 1983 Model 1
Really makes one question the validity of the data.

I've found that these "Blue Book"s prices on specialty brands such as Charvel and Jackson bear no relationship to the reality of open market such as prices on ebay. They somehow do better on mainstream brands such as Fender and Gibson. I guess there is more statistics to use.............

Ah ok, the whole "Art Series" threw me off, thought it was in refrence to the current ones out.

Sorry, dude, it's not the whole book, just a few pages out of certain sections.

One of the sections happens to include some Charvels...
