I found a Charvel V-Shark (?) at a guitar shop for $99. It's pretty beat up looking but plays and sounds great. It was refinished some time ago, the paint is chipped in some parts and you can see the previous red (I think) finish. The guy at the store said he used to sell them around 1989. I searched Google for "charvel v-shark" but only found it in a listing on the site of the place I bought it from, other than that, there's nothing.
The SN is 354682. I don't have any pictures of it, but the body shape is a Rhoads; the headstock is a regular pointy one. Also, the Charvel headstock logo is the same style as the Jackson logo, it isn't in the guitar-shape like others I've seen (though the latter style is what's on the pickups and neckplate). It has a slanted humbucker at the bridge and a single coil at the neck.
Anyone know anything about the history of this model?
