  • My new c/s is almost ready !

Taked to Jason at DCGL yesterday. He said Jackson called and said the tuners were bad. I speced out LSR's, I didn't know they were out of business until yesterday. I told him to have them put on some Sperzels. If you would like to know the spec's. It's a Dinky with alder body. Body has scalloped heel and horn. Neck wood is birdseyed maple, fingerboard the same. Ebony Sharkfins. Frets scalloped 12th - 22. Speed neck. Neon blue binding on neck and headstock and over the frets. Floyd non recessed. Dunlop s.b's. 1 hum 1 sc. One voulme/tone knob with pull up for kill switch. Head stock painted black with blue logo. Painted pickups. With Mike Learn's Date with Destiny Graphic.

Can't wait now. It's been about nine months so far.

    Thanks Guys.

9 months? That's nothing. Try 18-26 months. It will take at least 6 more months for a guitar to get through shipping. If you see it in 12 months, you are one lucky man! Sounds like a neat guitar! Hope you see it soon.

Yeah man! Sounds like a great guitar.
I hope you still "like" the idea in two+x years when it's ready!

I've had LSRs, they were horrible...the metal was soft leading to easy thread stripping, and the locking mechanism seemed pants to me. Be glad!

Oh man you guys, what a way to rain on his parade.

They are right though, you'll be lucky to see it before Christmas. Somehow the finish/inspection/shipping process takes about 6 months with them.

Post pics when you get it though, sounds interesting.
Come and get one in the yarbles, if you have any yarbles, you yunick jelly thou!

Yeah I thought I might get lucky and get it soon. I'm glad that the LSR's were bad too, someone else told me after I placed the order they sucked. No pics of it as of now. Damn nine months to build six months to get it. I hope not.

                  Thanks Guys

My bolt on took 12 months between final inspection and me recieving it (and then, it was fitted with a vintage bridge instead of a Floyd!!) So far, it's been 25 months and counting for a simple Bullseye bolt on Charvel!!

I hope you get yours in a lot less time as it sounds fantastic.

                        Cheers
                        Steve

Hey guys. Got an email from DCGL (Jason). Said this one is scheduled to ship to the distribution center next week, so you should be seeing it sometime in the next 2 weeks or so.

So is the distribution center where they get held up at?

Or will I have it in my hands in about a month?
