  • Was there ever a poor man's Roswell?

I like a lot of the Roswells I've seen - did Jackson ever offer these in a non-limited capacity?

    Thanks.

OOPS - Sorry - wrong place to post this....How do I delete?

There was also a Grover Jackson model with a regular pointy headstock.

Isn't that where the aliens crashed in Kentucky? Sorry, I had to do it.

Friedman should have played one of those in the Hangar 18 video instead of the Kelly (nothing against the Kelly).

A Roswell with a pointy headstock? That would be very, very, sweet. Anyone have a photo?

(That blue one is pretty nice, though).

Matt (Newc) has (had?) one, he probably still has a pic of it. It was a Grover Jackson if I recall correctly...

I thought I heard my name

It was identical to the Roswell Pro (Roswell head) except for the head and inlays, and the stopbar. It had a Jackson pickup that sounded a lot better than the Duncan Designed in the Pro.

                      Playability was excellent, of course.

But that big fin is a trouble maker - you need a lot of room for it.

Haha, I knew you'd hear me!

And yes, the fin is indeed a trouble maker! I don't know about that one Matt, but my Roswell Pro balances awful... I hate standing with it, and I hate sitting with it as well, haha, but it sure is pretty!

Now *that* is beautiful. Forgive my ignorance, but what is a 'Grover Jackson' version? Is it a Japanese one, like Jackson Stars?

                            Yes.
I feel festive all year round. Deal with it.
